We are on the ground, working directly with our communities to help people facing mental health challenges. Our focus is on early support—working towards community members finding help, get the problem identified, and starting treatment for mental health issues as soon as possible. But we know treatment is not enough. We also actively work within our communities to fight the shame and judgment often linked to mental illness. Stigma is a huge problem because it often stops people from getting the care they need.
Following Activities are conducted via the CCMHP program
1.Home visit and screening
2. Case counseling and follow up
3. Community Based Program and Event
a. Community based psychosocial awareness
b. School mental health program
c. Educational session for key representative and stakeholders of community
4. Capacity building (Female community mental health facilitator)
